to voice leading, and an analysis tool kit. Very good site for college level
theory students.

This site provides instruction on how to harmonize (choose chords for) a melody. It proceeds step by step,
from identifying the key and the primary chords to playing chords that fit the tune. The site is designed for
people with limited experience reading music, and it is very useful for people who may have to lead a group in
singing with an autoharp or other accompanying instrument.

| This site is an excellent tutorial on Schenkerian analysis. It includes a "Panic Guide" for those in need
of a quick overview. This is a free site, and it is one you'll want to bookmark if your are currently enrolled
in a Schenker-oriented course. |

| Dr. Marcus Casren and Dr. Mikael Laurson of the Sibelius Academy have programmed an application called MacSet which is an aid for teaching and learning Set Theory. This software is free. Be aware that it is designed only for Macintosh computers. |
